Testnet is where Kyvro is tested in public before Mainnet. Connect an SVM wallet, get free test tokens, try things out and tell us what you find.
Test tokens have no value
KYV and tKUSD on Testnet exist only for testing. They have no monetary value, cannot be redeemed and will never be bridged or converted to Mainnet tokens.Testnet can be reset
A reset wipes all balances, programs and history. Anything you deploy should be reproducible from scripts.Never share your seed phrase
No Kyvro site, faucet or team member will ever ask for a seed phrase or private key. Use a separate wallet or account for testing.Verified against the live network. Copy any value.
Phantom, Solflare or Backpack. Kyvro uses base58 Solana-style addresses. There is no add-network request on SVM: you add Kyvro as a custom network and verify the genesis hash.
Connect your wallet, point it at the Kyvro RPC in its custom network settings, then verify. Only your public address is shared.
In your wallet, find the custom-network (custom RPC) settings and enter:
The faucet sends test assets to your wallet. Claims go direct from your browser to the faucet; this site holds no keys.
Kyvro (KYV)
Available100 KYV per claim · no cooldown currently enforced · pays transaction fees
Kyvro Test USD (tKUSD)
Available1000 tKUSD per claim · no cooldown currently enforced · SPL token, 6 decimals
SPL test assets arrive in an Associated Token Account (ATA), which the faucet creates for you and pays the rent on. TEST ASSET ONLY: no redemption, no dollar value.

Open the faucetSuggested activities. Each one exercises a real part of the network, and each problem you hit is worth reporting.
Install Phantom, Solflare or Backpack, add a custom SVM RPC pointing at https://rpc-testnet.kyvro.si, and verify the genesis hash matches A8qzbNkAdT1GsqmyKTifWnTgS7PuqqmniwdsGeaPc5Jo. There is no chain-add step on SVM.
Get 100 KYV for fees plus 1,000 tKUSD test dollars from the faucet (24-hour cooldown). Both have no monetary value; tKUSD has no redemption and no dollar value.
Send a small amount of KYV between two of your own addresses, then look the signature up on the explorer. Note the slot, commitment level and the single validator leader.
Good reports include what you did, what you expected, what happened, and a transaction signature if there is one.
Found a security vulnerability? Do not post details publicly. Choose “Bug report” with severity “critical”. Reports are only visible to Kyvro staff.
Current Testnet constraints, so you do not spend time reporting what is already known.
KnownSingle validator
One validator produces blocks and serves RPC. A restart, upgrade or crash halts the chain until it returns.
KnownrequestAirdrop is disabled
The RPC airdrop method is turned off. Test tokens come from the faucet only.
KnownNo Solana mainnet gossip
Kyvro is an independent network by design: it does not peer with Solana mainnet, testnet or devnet.
KnownLedger pruning
Old ledger is pruned to bound storage. Ancient slots and signatures may no longer be retrievable.
KnownResets are possible
A reset returns balances to genesis and removes every deployed program.
KnownNo oracles or bridges
No price feeds, and no bridges to or from other networks, by design.

Create a mint, create an associated token account, mint some tokens and transfer them with the SPL Token CLI against Kyvro RPC. The faucet pays ATA rent for tKUSD claims; your own mints pay their own rent.
Build a small native Rust SBF program, deploy it with the Solana CLI pointed at Kyvro RPC, invoke it, and read the logs on the explorer. Check the upgrade authority shown there.
Once MemeBrewery is live on Kyvro Testnet, launching a token and pushing it to the 100 KYV graduation threshold will list it on BrewerySwap. MemeBrewery has not deployed here yet, so this activity is documented for later.
Bugs, confusing steps and missing documentation are all useful. Include transaction signatures where you can.
